Davis & Clark Communal Endeavors is a nonprofit community development corporation committed to ensuring that low-income neighborhoods have green and inhabitable spaces of their own.
We work with community members and local stakeholders from the community to keep residents in their homes during quality of life-changing developments; achieving our mission through 4 goals and 6 milestones.
The Genesis
After years of preparation, education and contemplation, DC Communal initially began as an effort to improve 1 neighborhood church's effectiveness in being a source of assistance to their community. The Vision for this CDC was brought to life following a meeting with leaders from multiple communities in Texas regarding that effort.
